Supercars summary of penalties, Townsville 400, update 3 final
STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES, Update #3: FINAL issued Sunday, 07 July 2019 at 1915hrs.

Matters from Race 18:
Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
The DRD conducted investigations into the following matters during the Race and determined that they did not warrant referral to the Stewards:
Incident involving contact between Car 9, David Reynolds, and Car 17, Scott McLaughlin, on Lap 1 at Turn 1 as neither Driver was wholly or predominately to blame;
Incident involving Car 35, Todd Hazelwood, crossing the chevron at Pit Entry due to exculpating circumstances existing.

The DRD has opened, but not yet concluded, an investigation into the fire that happened during the Pit Stop of Car 8 during the late part of the Race.

Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
During the Race the Stewards imposed the following penalties:
A Pit Lane Penalty on Car 18, Mark Winterbottom, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 7, Andre Heimgartner, at Turn 2 on Lap 24);
A Pit Lane Penalty on Car 21, Macauley Jones, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 18, Mark Winterbottom, at Turn 3 on Lap 42);
A 15 second time penalty on Car 8, Nick Percat, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 6, Cam Waters, at Turn 3 on Lap 54);
A 15 second time penalty on Car 14, Tim Slade, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 78, Simona de Silvestro, at Turn 13 on Lap 54.

Following the Race and a DRD investigation (and admission of a breach of the rules), the Stewards imposed the following penalties:
A 15 second Time Penalty on Car 7, Andre Heimgartner, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 22, James Courtney at 12 on Lap 58).

Matters from Race 17:
Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
The DRD conducted the following investigations during the Race and determined that they did not warrant referral to the Stewards:
Request for investigation from Brad Jones Racing for the start by Car 35, Todd Hazelwood as the evidence did not establish any breach of the rules;
Request for investigation from Kelly Racing for the incident at Turn 2, Lap 2 involving Car 7, Andre Heimgartner, Car 88, Jamie Whincup and Car 6, Cam Waters, as no Driver was wholly or predominately at fault for the Incident.

Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
During the Race the Stewards imposed a 15 second time penalty on Car #6, Cam Waters, for a Driving Infringement (Schedule B2, Code of Driving Conduct - Careless Driving causing contact with Car #100, Rick Kelly, at Turn 2 on Lap 26).

Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
Following a DRD investigation and an admission of a breach of Rule D11.7.3 (a Car must be free of equipment before leaving its Pit Bay) by Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd (Kelly Racing) in relation to Car 78, the Stewards imposed a fine of $2000 on Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd.
